guage cluster replacement

will all superduty guage clusters interchange? diesel may not and do all the auto trans pickups have the trans temp guage in the dash?
Will the needle off an older pickup like a 97 work in place of needle on a 04 superduty?
I do not like the red needles. I like the older style.

No. '99-'01 (maybe '02) have the rolling odometer. In '02 or '03 that went to a digital. In '05-'07 they should be the same. In '08...all together new.

No...they do not. That did not start until '02 or '03.

Not sure, but if you have the cluster out anyway, might want to go to your local hobby store and buy some model paint. Just paint the needles the color of your choice.

I had to do this on my '76 (see sig) because over the years of direct sun...they looked aged. YES...it worked GREAT.
