I just built a fully loaded tundra crewmax, and it was $50,000, for that or $1,000 more I could have a fully loaded superduty with the 6.4L. It was over $5,000 over the King Ranch F-150 Crew Cab.

Interesting.

You are not apples to apples. The Crewmax has a bigger cab. The Toyo has equipment that you cannot even get on the F-150, such as stability control, side airbags, 6 speed auto and (sorry if this offends you) you really can't compare the power of the Toyo 5.7 to the Ford 5.4.
You might not want all of the equipment, but it is on the truck nonetheless.
BTW, Got my nicely equipped SR5 Crew Max, 4X4 with 5.7 for $31,000.
(Flat invoice at a Toy dealer in NC.)
Ditto. SR5 Double Cabs with the 5.7 and modest equipment (XLT-like) sticker for around $31k-$32k. Dealers are giving $6500-$7500 off MSRP, putting the price of the truck around $24k-$25k.
TX/OK editions of the F-150 Screw with the 4.6 (a horribly weak motor in that application) are selling for $20k-$21k. Add $3000-$4000 to get one with the 5.4 (there is a special factory discount with the 4.6 that you loose when you go to the 5.4). Even with the 5.4, performance is only adequate
GM and Chevy work trucks, which are more XL-like, with the 4.8 run $18k-$19k. If you want to move up to an SL (XLT-like) and the 5.3, add another $4000-$5000.
