Fixed my low vacuum.

I had low vacuum on my 360, it was 10". I was sitting in a pesticide recertification class to day, wasn't paying much attention. I dedided out of the blue that I would put new vaccum lines on, tranny included. I did it tonight and the vacuum jumped up to 16.5"

It's funny how sometimes the simple and cheap things can correct something that we think is difficult. I was on the verge of rebuilding the engine right away, but now I can wait a while and rebuild it as a 390.

I'd be interested to know which way your fuel consumption now changes if at all.

Fixed my low vacuum.

It has been running around 13 mpg, which pretty good for a truck. I check it regularly just for the heck of it. I have cylinder that is running at 85#'s compression and was planning on rebuilding it right away.
