Look at the pan to tell you what you have. For a 460, I would recommend a C6. The c6 you need will have a bolt spacing of almost 8" across the top two belhousing bolts
Judging by the date code on your tag, its from a 78 truck, so either you have a big block or small block trans.
This picture illustrates the difference between a big block pattern shared by the small block 351M/400, and the 429/460, and the small block pattern shared by the 5.0 and 5.8(C and W) If you had a rounded belhousing, that is for a FE (352/360/390). A D8TP will def. not be an FE.
