Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone on this forum will be at Hershey on 10/13? It would be great to try to meet so of you.
I also wondered if anyone knew how to find out if any of the part vendors that specialize in out trucks will be there. I've never gone looking for Truck parts before, I usually just wander in the mud and rain all day ans spend too much money.
Carlisle in this weekend but I won't be going to that one.
Dennisb: I'm thinking about going to the Carlisle meet. Did not know about the Hershey show, but probably can't make it. I have not been to Hershey nor Carlisle in years. So also wondering how much I can find for old (mine's a '50)Ford trucks.
Dennis,
I usually try and make it to this show every year. I love this show, they say if you can't find it at Hershey, it doesn't exist. I have a beautiful hardcover book about this show. I will be going next year. Maybe we will hook up then. My father in law has a couple spots at the Giant Center. He used to be in the white field near the Hershey school. It really kills me not to go this year.
Oh well, maybe I can meet some of you guys next year. Did I mention I love this show?
The flea market is fantastic, the show on Saturday morning is great.
You can see a few nicely restored Effies there.
Jeff
I haven't decided yet. I was at carlisle fall and came back with blisters and a head ache. If i had a dime for every time i got laughed at i could buy another truck. I have a 1952 f-2 ford and need running boards NOT fiberglass. walked from one end to the other and all i got was a guy who was wasted trying to sell me a set for an older truck like 48 47 46. but there are a lot of guys going to the hershey show from there that do have alot of parts and info. Good luck. If you have any ideas for mine let me know. happy hunting casey
