I was just wondering if anyone has a good site or two about tuning a carter AFB? It is a 600 on a 390 and I live at about 5500 Feet. I am wanting to get rid of the little stumble between the primaries and secondaries.
Download the tuning info for Performer carbs off the Edelbrock website. They're not exactly the same but close enough that the rod/jet tables should get you in the ballpark.
It is mechanical. Without the air valve, it will fall flat on it's face when you open it up because there is no accelerator pump shot to the rear barrels and it will lean out severely.
