88 M5R2 conversion?

88 M5R2 conversion?
So I have bought a 88 F-250 4x4 knowing that it had a bad transmission... 5th and reverse are shot. After shopping around I found a junkyard tranny and took it home. I cleaned it up and took off the 4x2 housing, bolted on the 4x4 housing and attemped to bolt on the t-case to find out that the output shafts were different sizes. The 4x4 has much larger shaft. The junkyard wont take the tranny back and I havent found anyone to buy it. Is there a conversion kit or adapter for the smaller output shaft to mate with the t-case? Thanx for any help.

A 250 should have had a ZF trans, not a Mazda.
Pics of both here. If you bought a Mazda to replace a ZF, you're out of luck.
