knock sensor?

Musclestang, the cars did not use knock sensors, but the truck 5.0's always used a knock sensor, regardless of whether it was mass air or speed density.
Now what you can do is momentarily hook up manifold vacuum to the EGR valve to verify that the valve is actually opening. On my truck, the EGR likes to get stuck, and usually applying full manifold vacuum will pop it free. Then I just hook it up like normal again.

Ok sorry, reset with battery uplugged...and i did not do the KOER test right with brake/switch/ps/goose(rev)
Only two codes showed up
225 Knock Sensor (KS) signal not sensed during dynamic response test.
167 TPS did not exceed 25% rotation during the Dynamic Response Test.
Could this be the pinging culprit?

As this was the first time I had ever done the self tests...I did them wrong. After doing them right, my KOEO System Pass and KOER System Pass. I decided to look at vacuum hoses...And ended up replacing all of them since I had time to do so. My fuel pressure regulator hose than runs to intake had a hole in it. It runs a whole lot better.
