What would you do?
Hey guys, I`m sure most have read of all my problems in the past. I had an `05 6.0 Excursion that i bought brand new. After 10000miles it started having LOTS of problems. I installed SCT Ex Cal II with custom tunes from Inovative Deisel, wich helped, but Ford could never figure out why vehicle kept stalling while in motion. Ford bought back that Excursion, and now I own another `05 Excursion
It has cold air intake, turbo back exhaust, and Bullydog Outlook monitor "just for guages". I know that it used to have the Bullydog Tripple Dog Downloader chip on it, but has been taken off and is back to stock. I`ve been noticing how much different and better this one runs than my old one. My question is would I be smart to put my SCT on the new Ex for the EGR delete and other benifits? Also I havent heard much good about Bullydog chip; and hoping it hasn`t done anything bad to motor.

Does it have the engine warranty still in place? Did you purchase from ford dealer? Did you get an oasis report before purchase? What I am wondering if the vehicle has been flagged for warranty. I hate going without warranty on these expensive engines. Especially at $90 per hr.

Has 35000miles and is still under warranty. Purchased from a Truck & Suv Superstore. I`ve spoken to the previous owner-who seems like a good guy--lots of info and stuff. He assured me that its still under warranty and he took chip off & diconnected batteries before going to dealership. The first thing I did When I found it was oasis report and it came back great. I dont want the chip to drag race around, I just want to have little or no problems like so many others on FTE!!!
