Help identifying a 2005 overhead console

All,
I recently purchased a 2005 F-250 CC 6.0 PSD FX4, and it's a fabulous truck.
I did manage to purchase it for a great price, so it has some issues.
First, the overhead console is not there. (see pic)
I'm not sure what it looks like. Would someone be kind enough to send a pic?
I think is has the sunroof switch and a map light for each of the front seats.
All of the computer data is in the dash. (MPG, Trip, Miles to empty...)

I went to the local Ford dealer and they produced several part numbers that came to a total over $500.00. (That sounded kind of high.)

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you dont mind using a replacement that is slightly used, do a search on salvage parts for this item. I had to replace a tail lamp and saved over $300.00 by finding the part through an on line salvage yard. Shipping was reasonable, even though the part shipped from Las Vegas. The larger salvage operators will guarantee the item so you can return it if it is not as pictured. I would stay away from the dealer for something like this.

I thought that in 05' that the econo info was in the dash? I have seen that same console in two ways, 1) has the econo display and sunroof switch with maplights, ans 2) is just the maplights I believe. That price form the dealer is about right. I will keep an eye out for one. Ford only sells the overhead console with the bracket, not just the console. That said if you cannot find one used, or if you find one used I need a bracket for a overhead console that I bought for my truck. I would be willing to buy it from you.

That's a start!

TexMex250,
A used console would be great. What online salvage yards have worked well for you?
Also, I don't know what I'm missing. Do I need the console and a bracket?
Are there mounting clips and or screws?

yamaguy,
I'll let you know what I find.

Which console?

Is the 04 the same as the 05?
It looks like there are at least two different consoles for each year.
If you have a sunroof, the console is smaller with a sunroof switch.
If you don't, the console is much longer.

As for what years will work...
The 05 console does not have a display in it.
It looks like the 04's have a display in them.

If the 04 console will fit, I don't need the display.
I'm not sure is they are the same size or have the same electrical layout for the sunroof.

There is an overhead console for a 2001 F150 on ebay.
It has a display for the econo that I'll never use.
Is this the one that I'm looking for?

qfadder, that is the same style console that you need just without the display in it. I believe that the 04' would interchange. I have the same console that is in your pic, but I need the mounting bracket for it. You have the mounting bracket in your roof already. The console will just clip into the bracket.

Ford Part number?

Can anyone verify if this is the correct Ford Part number for the complete console?
