Adjustable Shocks?? (MX6)

Any of you guys using an adjustable shock, like the Rancho 9000 or MX6?? Trying to decide if they're worth the money and if the adjustment feature really makes that much of a difference??

My intentions...towing the trailer!! I would imagine it may come in handy to be able to stiffen up the rear a bit with the load. Can get that bouncy-ness that continues for a couple of cycles if you hit the right bump just right.

I've got Edelbrock Extrem Travel reservoir shocks now and while they were completely awesome new, at about 35,000 miles on them they're fading fast. They didn't live a hard or abused life either I would think a high dollar shock would last a bit longer than that. I've had stock shocks perform longer than that!!

Just for FYI, planning on the Pro Comp MX6's. (MX6 on the front and MX6R on the rear)

wow, good for you. we sell the pro-comp line. but noone ever wants the mx's. theyre soo expensive. and for strictly towing, i doubt ud notice them for what theyre worth.

adjust the tongue weight, that will help alot on how well the trailer tows.

Actually, I thought the prices were pretty dang competitive within that class of shocks....Rancho Pro's, Fabtech, Bilstein 7100's, Edelbrock Extreme Travel, etc. Reservoir shocks are just toooo cool!!!
