ford explorer acting weird
i have a 94 ford explorer but has a 1995 engine. i just noticed in the mornings from a cold start my explorer shakes and after driving it around for awhile it puts out grayish white smoke sitting at traffic lights and blows out alittle when taking off. it just looks like its grayish white color. but on the cold start up the shake goes away after its all warmed up. i havent over heated its been acting funny since i put in the thermostat cause when i bought it it had no thermostat.

You will probably find the lower gasket corroded on the rear passenger side over the #3 cylinder. Miss fires until the plug warms up, grey smoke (coolant), wait too long and it will contaminate the O2's and the Cat, costing $$$.
About 3 hrs to do re/re, need upper/lower gasket set, rocker cover set and Hi temp RTV, (O2 compatable), good luck.
