Remote Lock Horn?

Hey all, Ive been around off and on, but never posted.

I recently recieved a 94 F150 from my grandpa. When I lock it with the keyless remote, the doors lock just fine, and if i hit the button a second time the lights flash.

However, the horn is not sounding. I have an 02 Mustang, and the horn sounds when the lights flash on keyless lock.

How do i reenable the horn beep. Horns work fine when i hit the horn button.

Thanks everyone!

Is this stock keyless entry or aftermarket?

I had a 96 EB f150 and there was no horn on it . But it came from PHILLY city and may have been disconnected. ( security alarms (horns) are becoming illegal in city)

im thinking it may have been disarmed, but the panic button makes the lights flash still.

Where would the horn hookup be for the alarm system? I need to make sure a wire wasnt cut or something. Its had clockspring problems in the past that cause loss of horn function and at one time an extra horn button was wired in. ive unhooked that button and set it all back to factory, but it still isnt working.

Anyone have an idea?

I would check the connections to/from the keyless module. It should be located under/behind the dash, forward of the cubbie hole near your right knee.

I cant see anything wrong with it. Anyone have any ideas? horns work just fine, but when i hit panic the lights are all that work.

Is there a setting or procedure I need to go through to turn that feature on? Im not sure flashing lights will get me any help if someone breaks into the car.

Anyone? All the wires are hooked up under there, none look damaged.

Is there a fuse or something, the keyless works, the horns work, but the keyless will not activate the horns. SOmething somewhere is not hooked up properly or something.

Are there any ford techs here who might know what to look for?
