Bass Tracker inboard Jet?
Just curios if anyone has had any experiences with this type of setup? A buddy of mine has one for sale in very good condition, and I was thinking for what he's asking it would make a nice starter boat, but I'm kind of new with boats. I live were I have three rivers that 99% of the people run jet drives and then two lakes. Just curios of the pros and cons of an inboard.

I hope when he puts it up he puts oil in the spark plugs!! My buddy got one of those Bayliners with same set up, We took it out and it was having trouble running then all of sudden it stopped, turned it over by hand seemed pretty free so we cranked her back up and about 10 minutes later it just stopped again, so we finally drift back to the ramp, get it back to his place and take the head off. There was corrosion on the bottom cylinder it ate up the piston, the motor stopping was the piston pieces getting stuck and actually stopping the motor!! they actually fell out the exhaust ports we didn't find the pieces!! I would oil those cylinders and fog the bottom end whenever you put it up for more than a month, maybe even fog the motor after every use!! The wear ring in the impellar will need to be kept in spec for the most thrust from jet drives so keep an eye on it!!
