I was going to search the forum for this because i am sure it has been discussed, but i cant.

I am looking into getting a plow for my pickup. Currently leaning toward Boss, but am interested in what brands you guys have had good luck with. The other question is what mods, if any would you do to a f350 srw in preparation for plowing. I will be plowing mainly our own yard and a couple of small parking lots.

Ive never used a boss, only fisher, and meyer. I absolutely love fisher plows. I really like that when they trip, its only the cutting edge, and not the whole plow blade, the fishers are heavier and IMO better built then they meyers. The fishers the whole assembly comes off and theres just the mounting bracket left. We have one on our early 99, and our 02, both still work really well. Only thing we have had to do was replace the main wire on the early 99 last year, it died of corrosion.
