The only other thing it could be is a CAT right?
I was looking at this sweet new box truck that brought some materials to my job today, big ol cummins. It had a crazy exhaust, it was only like 4 feet long once it was under the truck. It had that (what uve got) looking thing then like 10 inches of pipe then the mount flange to the muffler was crazy, pre muffler it had big sections of pipe removed right before the muffler, it didnt make much sense but this thing was so new it was just starting to get that blue tint to it, maybe to keep the temps down not sure.
If its not a CAT then it may be some type of collector to keep the smoke down. Is it a California truck?
well took a flashlight and looked into it!looks like a screen for a window!
That could be a better description, the tiny holes you could see were long holes? or it actually looks just like a screen? When i said honeycomb, i should have said very fine honeycomb, with very small holes (pencil tip sized usually) The core of them is made partially of platinum, and is worth some money to scrap metal places.
