Howdy all, took my truck in to the shop to get a leak in the transfer case fixed and to get the speedo fixed and now the blinkers are not working.
I have a 1989 f250 with a 7.3l diesel. The break, hazards, markers and the head lights all work. I checked the fuses in the fuse panel in the cab and they all seem good. I also replaced the flasher fuse that is in the fuse panel as well and still no luck.
well check your voltages etc. see if there is a broken wire, however the good news is if it is the blinker assembly you can order one from the dealer and just swap it out. or pull one out of a scrap yard.

Where am I checking the volatage at and how much should it be?
there should be a cluster of wires under the dash comming from the steering column, some of those will be for te blinkers if you have a manual you should be able to follow the wiring diagram to find the right wires to check.
there are usually 2 flashers ..... one for the 4 ways .... one for the blinkers .... you replace the right one ? Turn on the 4 ways and feel the flasher thats clicking . The flasher thats clicking is good ..... find the bad one .
