will the rear end axle out of a 99 fit a 96

Bolt pattern for wheels is different. Spring preches may/are different . But you can make anything work with enough time.

Hmm, thats wierd, I just got through putting some rims from a '87 on my friends 98. I thought the bolt pattern didn't change until '02 (or whenever the newest body style came)

Sorry I was just going by posts and a rim spect sheet I got . The say 97 up metric .
