Does $400 for a 54 fixer upper sound good? Found an ad here in austin that is selling one for 400 and claims all metal is there. The ad says the truck is complete except for engine and tranny. Was thinking of calling just for resale if still available.
I would look closely for rust in the usual areas (cab corners, drip rail, fender eyebrows, front of hood, etc). It does have a chrome '56 grill that may clean up to recoup a good chunk of your cash. A TX title can be a booger to get if he has none. If it's just lost, that's a different story.
