Safety . . .
Well my truck goes in tomorrow for a Safety inspection so I will see if all my hard work payed off. of course I will be there the entire time to make sure they don't try to rip me off.

Well the bulb and stud I can understand. If your floorpan has holes in it or is very close to having them, I can see failing safety.
Is the radiator support badly rusted or cobbled together?

We do it yearly . I'm glad you should see some of the things they bring in . Bad frame/ no brake linings ETC real hazards. But mostly because most people don't check their rides at all. And only have looked at when it becomes expensive. like a wheel falling off.
