Fuel Filter Valve Replacement

I have done a little searching can't find out anything on this piece..Maybe a Ford tech can shed some light ont if changing the valve is beneficial or not..Anybody else have any info??

That's the stand pipe in the secondary fuel filter. Every truck has one and if you use an aftermarket fuel filter you'll break it off because of fitment issues.

Cole26,

npccpartsman has got you covered, you only need to change this if you break the existing one on your truck. They do not require periodic replacement to manintain fuel pressure.
