front axle problems
I just removed my hub bearing assembly on the passenger side of my 99 f250 7.3 diesel. When i grab the axle shaft the whole thing moves around. Does anyone know of a website that has a diagram of the axle shaft so i could see all the parts that are involved. Also how do i get the axle shaft out of the steering knuckle.

If you have removed the hub assembly the axle should move around. If you look at the back side of the bearing assembly you will see a B2110 bearing ( smaller bearing ) that is what the axle rides on and is supported by on that end...

the seal on the where the axle comes out of the axle housing is off and so is the one on the back of the knuckle. How hard is it to remove the axle and replace the seals, bearing and u-joints. How do i get the axle out of the knuckle?

Pull. That is the simple answer to removing it BUT I'd recommend buying the replacement seals and o-rings, as well as fabricating a seal installer (foot long piece of pipe with a cap and floor flange. Look around the site it's here somewhere do a search) One of my local Dealerships printed me a diagram of the half-shaft and hub assembly.
