Has anyone ever....

Put themselves on their own ignore list? What would happen? I am afraid to try it. I think it would be like the fear in time travel of the same matter from two different points in time occupying the same space at the same time.

Disaster waiting to strike.

All I have to say is:

"There is nothing wrong with your television set.
Do not attempt to adjust the picture.
We are controlling transmission.
If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume.
If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper.
We can reduce the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity.
We will control the horizontal.
We will control the vertical.
For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear.
You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to...
The Outer Limits."

No, but I once set up my work email to autoreply that I was out of the office. To make sure I did it right I sent myself an email from my work email. It auto-replied to the email which then kept autoreplying that I was out of the office.....it finally quit when my mailbox filled up.

I think I waited too long to actually try it. The mods that be must have seen this thread and entered the fixative preventive measures before I got up the courage to make the leap.

It was very disappointing to say the least.

Dude, you don't mess with stuff like that...You're extremely lucky that preventive measures were took before you got up the courage to make the leap. If you had ignored yourself, you would negate yourself and cease to exist...You wouldn't die, you would cease to be. You would be caught in between parallel worlds, and it is a very dark place...Any you are lucky it is pitch black, for you wouldn't want to see horrors that surround you.

No one changed anything, it's written into the forum software that you can't ignore yourself (besides, I've been trying to that for years... )

The worst part is they don't let you be your own buddy either. Good thing my dogs like me.
