Update 09 January.

Well, the good news is that I now look more like than I do

Progress.

I was under the impression that we'd be DONE on the 7th...we're not. I go back on the 17th to have the permanent caps installed...at this moment, I've got one reallllly big crown covering the front four. You wouldn't know that by looking at it tho...it looks like four teeth.

Ho hum. Next week.

And the 7th wasn't terrible. Couple or three hours in the dentist chair. No nitrous (cause they were working on the top...) but with enough shots of whatever they use, I couldn't feel much...and when various pieces of flying shrapnel hit the bottom teeth, it was annoying, but not painful.

One piece at a time...

Update 18 January.

Well...it's official. I look like this guy now... ---->

Took quite awhile to remove the temps. (and a hammer... ) But remove them we did...and installed the permanent caps yesterday.

Not bad looking...can't wait to show 'em off.

Oh please...I can tear up a pizza with or without teeth.

The good news is that the second job was primarily to pay for all of this mouth work...guess how much I owe the dentist?

Go on...guess.

That's right. ZERO. Paid that sumbeach in full.

I'll still be working weekends for awhile, but mostly because I want to. I'm taking a trip in Feb that I gotta pay for, then buy the kids plane tickets for the summertime, etc.... but it's nice to go to work and not have my paycheck spent before I get it...

Oh dear Lord...I'm at work, and the only other pic of me that I have here is a little, um... "dated". But it's me!

Nice work on the grill. I've had my upper front re-built also.

Looks better, but not alot of fun.

Holy cow. After a few months of fighting, my insurance company finally paid the claim for my presurgery consult in August...

So I now have totals for what this adventure in dentistry has cost...

Not counting prescriptions, I spent nearly $2,100.00 and my insurance spent nearly $4,200.00 For a total of nearly $6,300.00. (plus the drugs...)

Damn, that's a lot of money...
