need help finding a trany
whats up yall I have a 1993 ford f-150 4x4 with a v6 with a five speed trany. I need a transmition I cant find one any wear. people keep telling me it is a hard trany to find I guess ford but two bell housings on this trany a dimond pattern bell housing and a waffle pattern housing I need the waffle pattern help me find a trany or what other trucks I can look in to maybe find this trany thanks.

if it is hard to find, it's probably a ZF 5 speed..the other type is the M50D Mazda 5 speed..
have the ZF overhauled if you can't find another.. very good tranny
You might be able to find another ZF in 88+ F250, 350's.. avoid the 460's and diesel's though.. they will not fit your engine. you need to find one with the small block (300, 302, 351W) pattern.. in all of my trips to the junkyard I have yet to see one of those transmissions.. large demand for them..they disappear quick.
