300-6 into BII
the 2.9 took a dump on me and all i got laying around is a 300-6 with the t18 or t19 4 sp tranny and transfer case, has anyone ever tried or has put this motor into something like this

it could be done, ive seen pics of a '82-'86 ranger 4x with it done, they had a body lift kit on it, upgraded the front axle to a solid axle (44 i think) and used a auto trans. thats alot of weight up front and alot of work, it would be easier to find another ranger-based-vehicle motor to put back in. a 4.0 ohv would be a good upgrade. just get the wiring harnes from the donor vehicle.
