Strange accelerationproblem explorer -95
I´m trying to figure out a problem with my friends explorer and I hope someone can help me.
When accelerating, it shifts att very high rpm and you have to step of the petal to get it to shift gear, but when you floor it, it doesnt kick down. And when you just let go of the gas while driving it kind of jumps as if it would get fuel/no fuel in really short moments or as if the tranny has a joint that isnt tight and would have short moments of not pushing if you se what I mean. Going uphill is the same, it jumps and has no power and even in a small hill I feel that it is to low in the rpms and that might be part of the problem. Hope you understand what I mean.
I would be very grateful if you try to explain in simple words and not to technical since I´m from sweden and doesn´t have the words for everything and that you see why I have small problems explaining what I mean. =) If there is something you need more explaining about just ask and I´ll dig out my dictionary.
