I have and 01 f250 v10 100k miles. I am getting a growling noise from about 15mph-about 35mph. Since I drive around town a little I notice it a lot. If I let my foot off the gas it seems to go away. I have some pretty loud tires and I first suspected that. The tires make noise all the time and at all speeds. I also suspected that some extra engine noise might be adding to the resonating noise of the tires.
Does any one know what might cause a low speed growl only while accelerating. I don' get any codes and its driving me crazy
