blower motor problem

I have a 2001 f150 that is not blowing enough air through the air vents even if the fan is on high. I think there must be a restriction but don't where to begin looking.

Pull the blower out and inspect the evaporator for dust/dirt buildup.

Try checking the in cab air filter if it is equipped with one.

gerdes you might have a vacuum leak. If you have a small leak your vent door will not open completely which will keep some of the air from reaching the vents. Check to see if when the fan is on high you can feel some air coming out from the vents on top of the dash.
