throttle body Question..

88 5.0 EFI : I noticed that the throttle body has a coolant channel running through it, from top to bottom, does this coolant channel work with the IAC and TPS? - I mean as far as the coolant getting heated up to operating temp and the electrical components working off of the heated coolant?

I don't know but I currently have mine bypassed due to it leaking from one of the ports and I can't tell any difference in the truck other then its not using antifreeze anymore. I have a 94 302 atx

The coolant just keeps the throttles from icing and sticking open in cold weather. The IAC and TPS operate the same regardless of coolant temperature.

Thanks! I forgot all about that but then again in im Florida so I dont have to worry about the butterflies in the throttle body getting iced open.
