No, I'm just repeating what Jeff said it was & he's not the gearhead of the family. That'd be ME!! It DOES run strong but I'll look into it tonight when we work on it. Any special styling clues I need to look for which would help me determine the year? He bought it used so I hope the owner's manual is still there. R U getting the feeling that it's a rebadged "regular" F-150?
Mean Gene, I forgot to pass on the info Ken sent me regarding the existence of a model year 2000 Roush Truck. Ken's response was, "Roush had them, they were pretty rare though..."
Stewart & others - I finally managed to catch up w/my boy ( we work opposite schedules but overlap occasionally ) & we both ran the self-diagnostics that ya sent us ( Thanks!! ) & it does not flash any codes!!?? Now what ( other than taking it to the local "stealership"!! )
Can I post those on a Ford website?? We're ( CorvetteForums.com ) not real picky about that but we have a special Forum for non-'Vette folks to post.
Probably be the later part of this year before my "baby" is ready & since the December 8th Pinks event will NOT be their All Out series, I've decided to add a few other things. Planning to run a small shot of nitrous ( 55 hp ) to help get the F1-R into its' powerband ( above 3k rpms ) then ramp it down via a NXMaximizer as the 'Charger comes into boost. The fun part is gonna trying to integrate this into my hatchback area which is currently occupied by an inverted 13" Focal sub & a floating amp rack w/2 Focal amps. I'm thinking about dual 5# bottles flanking ( 1 per side ) the sub & either painted to match the car; chromed or even wrapped in carbon fiber ( like my dash area & gauges ). Decisions, decisions!!! I'll stay in touch but I need to get Jeff's truck running first.

Go to your local Autozone (or similar parts store) and use their code scanner.
Usually, you have to "buy" the item, then after you use it, they refund your money when you bring it back.

Stewart - Do I have to "buy" the scanner or don't they have a "rent a tool" program? I could call in a favor as our local Ford dealer is owned by a fellow church member & we both sing in the choir but I hate to both him w/such a trivial thing.
