Battery Tender charger

I got a Battery Tender Jr charger to keep the batteries in the ATV and riding mower topped up during winter storage. I decided to connect it up to the 56 as well.

Does anyone use these? Has it worked well for you?

I had one on my older RV that worked real well, never had a dead battery when I wanted to use it.

I have heard that they work well. You know...if you drove old horse more you would not need it.

So far, I have driven mine enough to not need one. I think they are a good idea for occasional drivers though.

I use them on everything that doesn't get driven daily including my John Deere. They are great. Especially the newest models.

The cheapest way into those things is by using one of those many cube chargers that we all acquire when the device dies. If its 12 volt, it will trickle so cut the jack and add a couple of alligator clips. A VOM will tell you which side is which. I must have a dozen of those things from phones, rechargeable flashlights, whatever.
