I have 1981 ford F100. It has a 3 speed manual(3 on the tree.) Anyway inside the steering colum there is a plastic bushing about 2 inches wide that goes on the shift housing. Where (besides a dealer) can i get this? Also what is the proper name for this part?
I looked in the usual places, and can't find it. Apparently a column shift was not common with the 80's trucks? They only show auto columns or manual tranny columns with the shifter in the floor.
