Explorer-Sport differnces
Do the 2-dr sport explorers use the same automatic transmission as the 4-door chassis platform? Just curious because I know someone who had a 94 and went through 3 trannys and Ive talked to several other friends that have owned the 97+ explorer body style with lots of complaints about trannys. I'd like to pick up a cheap 2-dr explorer sport for the winter but Im trying to read and find out as much as possible about the shorter chassis to see if Ford had any surprises for me. If anyone has any comments or concerns about the 2-dr please let me know as Im still trying to learn more. Thanks!
