First Plug Change
Just did spark plug change on my 2001 V10 SD at 60,000 miles . Removed the air filter to TB hose and the two smaller lines attached to it and the PCV hose for more room. All were pretty easy except the last PIA on the passenger side. I have a cheapy torque wrench and it didn't really feel tight enough, 168 in lbs, but I not going to take any chances. Little paranoid I guess. I'm going to take the wrench to work and check the torque setting. I may have to retorque them again. Luckily we have a neat little machine that is used to calibrate torque wrenches and guns used on the assembly line. Also cleaned the TB while there. Plugs were all clean and the gap wasn't very wide, none over .060, the center electrode was worn to a rounded point.
