4-speed trany identification

i have a 74 f-250,2 wheel drive with a 360.it has a 4 speed,and i need to know if it's a borg-warner t-18 or a new process 435.the tranny codes are gone off of my vin tag,there are stampings on the tranny itself,but i dont know how to read them.

if the top is aluminum it is a np435 and cast iron it is a t-18

is should say on the side borg-warner, if its a t18
