Got my truck back late this morning from Bean's after he put in the fuel regulator, fluidampner, headstuds and of course, the stage 1 tow injectors from Spartan. Unbelievable what this big hipped girl can do now. I have to wonder what it's like with the higher stage injectors. I can't remember when I had more fun on an hour drive then I had on the way back here. Kudos to both Bean and to Matt for bringing the enjoyment of my truck to another level.
I'm going to be needing a significant discount for my tires. I'm looking forward to see how they handle towing. Matt is going to be doing two tow tunes for me, the regular tow and then a "detuned" tow for when I haul the horses. The detuned one will be the first one tried. Of course, I'll also have the fun tunes as well, which are the ones that get tried out first.
Sounds like you spent your money well. Everytime I hear a post like this, It makes me want to start with the heavier mods. Good luck with it.
Well I tell you, I was leary, it still is quite a bit of money but based on what I have experianced so far I'm glad I went with this. Even though I'm more then likely going to get addicted to the power that these put out and probably would want more, I do have to stick with what I can still tow the big babies with.
