Front Grill Parts

My 52's grill is badly rusted. Do you get this stuff re-chromed or buy new? or Where do you get replacement parts for it. I don't think it the original grill either. I like it!

Badly rusted = junk when it comes to chroming. At best you could have it Flame-Sprayed or just repaired, bondo'd and painted. Assuming you know what you have, that is, year/model/etc, I'd start looking for a good used piece(s) or aftermarket repop.

I don't think anyone is reproducing the 51/52 grills. If yours is beyond repair than you'll have to look for a good original. They show up on E-bay now and again.

Check with 51Panelman, he had a picture of 5 or 6 of them hanging on his fence. He lives in SoCal so they are probably cherry compared to yours.

Howdy,
i see you are in calif, so am i, I am in Los Banos, I have 6 of the 51-52 grills, some are complete with lights and some just a stripped grill, sorry none are chromed but in very good shape. let me know if you still need one.
