Weight Capacity
any idea how much weight a full size bronco can handle. I've got to move 2600 lbs of gear cross country and am looking at a 92 F250 to do it. But, I really like the style of the late 70's - 80's full size Broncos. The 2600 includes myself, adult son, and our personal gear as well as the load. So 2600 is the max. Can a Bronco handle it.

If you and your son are the size of Texas Tech offensive linemen it would help distribute the weight better. I'm already waiting for 2:30 today , excuse me. IMO, if you take the Bronco, pull a trailer. When I flip up the back seat and put 1,000 pounds of corn and less than 500 lbs of my hunting buddie and me and another 200 lbs of stuff in tail end it is a comfortable load but not overloaded. I would not double that load going cross country.

The total GVW for my 84 is 6050lbs. So it you know the weigh of your rig. then you know how much is safe. That is the weight in the bronco not in the trailer. A trailer will give you more you can haul.
