happy ending?
Some of you may remember my troubles with my starter on my 428. Could hear the motor spin but wasn't engaging. Sounds like a bad bendix spring right? Well we get it up on blocks and we're looking at the starter and IT ISN'T BOLTED IN ALL THE WAY! So we tightened up the bolts, turned the key and it turned over! Then we let the E brake go and it rolled off the blocks and into the side of my dad's GMC. Oh well better that than my other ford! LOL Well anyway, the truck runs again, it needs tuning but at least it's up and tearing *** once more.
