Ive got a 96 F350 PS and was wondering what psi range boost gauge to get. I dont want to go out and buy one and later find out its not going to be enough. Currently, I have a tymar intake ordered and in route, will have a TS chip ordered shortly and stage one injectors are just a few weeks way. I was thinking of a upgraded turbo housing or even a whole new turbo buts thats going to be a little while till i can swing those kind of funds. Will a 0-35 psi gauge be good enough or should I get the 0-60? As of right now I have no idea what kind of psi the truck should produce or even is producing. Thanks all
get the 0-35.
i have all those mods and i can peg it if get into it. no need for anything bigger than 35psi. anymore than that and your turbo wont last too long.
your ones will be capable of hitting 38-40 psi with the right tuning and
supporting mods, I would rather know that I am actually at 38 or 39
than just pegging a 35, but thats just me...
cost difference is minimal, as far as know, obviously there isnt a need for a 50 or 60 psi one, but why get one your gonna peg and not know?
not raggin on you others guys posts, cuz I know most of us have grown into
the boost ranges that were at, and thought back then that the 35 would be plenty, only to find out its not....
