unusual fuel problem help!
I hve a 84 F250 4x4 with a 351w. After getting a leak in the rear tank, i replaced it and ran rubber line to the tank selector valve since the metal line was rotted out. I am supposed to have 2 tanks but the front one was removed for some reason when I bought it and the switch has always been on the rear tank. My problem is that its not getting fuel to the engine. If i take the line off the carb, It squirts fuel in bursts which is im assuming normal, and according to my fuel pressure gauge its reading about 3-4 psi. However, I took the top part of the carb off to see if the float was sticking (which it wasn't), I had a buddy crank the engine and I noticed lots of bubbles coming from around the needle valve and no fuel. What is going on???
