Do I have a roller block?
Can I check the vin?, find a casting # on the block somewhere. There's no need for me to tear into the motor yet, the truck has 320K on it. I'm just trying to do my homework because I'm going Block hunting for a new engine. How much trouble is it to convert a non roller block to roller?
Even if you need to get a roller block. They are plentiful. Just watch the swap sheet or some local Mustang forums in your area. A used stock Mustang 5.0 longblock can be had for $100-$200 bucks in running condition. They are roller motors and have E7TE Truck heads on them already.
