late 70's frames
i was wondering if the mid to late 70's van frames were c-chanel like the f-series or if they were box frame like the chevy vans?

Every Ford van I've had the pleasure of being under (1979 to 1992) has had a C channel frame I'm pretty sure.

my 78 is boxed from the front to the middle of the transmission
