Greetings all you FoMoCo gearheads, i have a '99 F250 7.3 PSD and it has been stalling during 30 mile trips back and forth to work. Both high and low speed, starts right back up and usually runs for a few minutes then often happens again. Just over 100K on the odometer, replaced the fuel filter near intake less than 6 months ago. "check engine" light comes on, but goes out if i restart it. I suspect a fuel delivery problem, but don't want to invest in a new pump without some solid troubleshooting first. Is there another filter along the frame rail under driver side that could be an issue? I have heard crank position sensor thrown around as a possible issue, is this difficult/expensive to check/replace? any advice is helpful.

Camshaft Position Sensor. A good one from International used to be about $100, but according to some guys who've bought one from Ford recently, there's a good replacement for about $25.....Doesn't hurt to keep a couple handy.
Do a "search" for "CPS" and you'll learn all kinds of stuff, but yeah; that's probably what it is.......Easy to change one out.
