NGK or Universal O2 sensor?

I can get a Universal O2 sensor for 1/2 the price locally than the NGK....should I?

I always get the better part just for piece of mind. But what you want to get is really your choice/what you feel your budget allows.

The direct fit Bosch sensors from Advance and Autozone are about the cheapest I've found, and they are the same as stock...

I went with the NTK as well (4 wires). Box refers to NGK also...think they might me related somehow. Anyway popped it in, cleared 172 code...so far so good! I have to start buying parts from the US though, with our strong dollar. Dropped $130.00 on the sensor from NAPA...what a rip-off!

NTK and NGK are made by the same company. NTK is the O2 sensor line, and NGK is the spark plug line.

Oh, 130.00! Crap, I should consider myself lucky. I only had to pay 90 for the same one. I'm in ontario.
