Propane Injection

I have heard you could inject propane into your air intake for better performance, has anyone tried these systems and do they work as advertised?

I haven't installed an LPG system in my truck, but I know many others that have. You might want to read this:

Better have pyrometers on the exhaust, it will boost the exhaust gas temps, how much depends on how much propane you add.

My son was in Iraq and they modified several trucks over there, put propane in place of the either cold start injection. They had gauges and a toggle switch to turn the propane on & off. When on the trucks would accelerate like a dragster but they had to monitor exhaust temps closely. He said usually about 1 minute was all it could handle at the rate they injected at but also that put them at over 60 miles per hour and out of small arms range. made them extremely hard to track and hit with an RPG.
