97 expy missing under acceleration

97 expy missing under acceleration
good morning everyone. my 97 is missing when i accellerate. it only happens when i push the peddle all the way down. if i ease into it , it will run fine. i recently changed the tranny fluid since it was due. there are no codes at this time. it has been about a year since i changed the plugs. i have changed the plugs and wires twice in about 3 yrs . after i do that it does run alot better. i just cant believe that it would need that again already. anyone out there have any other ideas ?

Off topic probably, but my lawn mower was doing this, and it ended up being a bent pushrod on the right cylinder. That pushrod eventually snapped and bent the left cylinder pushrod. Just a thought.

yes the fuel filter has been changed. i have checked for any air leaks and fixed the two that i found. i have been reading and im wondering if the plugs that put in are just junk. i have the bosch platinums and have seen that others have had bad luck with those. on a whim i put it four low and it will climb with no problems

found out part of problem. i found out my check engine light does not work anymore. i had two cylinders with a misfire. i changed those out and it is working a lot better.
