2003 escape electrical system
Hello:
We installed a new battery in my wife's Escape about a month ago. My wife said for the last 3 mornings, when she starts the car the battery light stays on for about 3-4 minutes then goes off. It does not do this in the afternoon.
Like I said the battery is brand new from Ford....thanks for any suggestions.

ha! I checked out the light myself, it wasn't the battery light but the coolant light and it goes off after 30 seconds...we drove the car 200 miles this weekend without incident.
"educated" my wife on the different lights in the dash....showed her the battery light is different than the coolant light.
Amazing.
