91octane with superchips 87 setting
Hey all I am wondering what the damage or hazards to running 91 or better (premium) with the superchips programmed to the 87octane setting.
Its in a 2004 f250 5.4l. I am asking because my girl borrowed my truck while I was at work and in doing so filld it up for me but she didnt know I had it programmed and put in premium. She drove it around for the after noon until she picked me up at work.
It says not recommended in the manual but I wasnt sure why as it doesnt give much of a explanation. I am going to programm it for the premium fuel in the morning but would like to know if there was any damage incurred during the driving.
